Any help would be greatly appreciated, as the trinket would be a perfect solution for my project! Thanks in advanced. I've tried using a hub in between the trinket and my laptop, and I've used many different USB cables. The problem persists, even though the uno throws the success message after the repair process. I've tried repairing the bootloader with an uno, but no luck. Now every time I plug in the board, I don't see a flashing red light, but instead it stays on for about two and a half seconds after recieving power and then the light goes out again, and when I hit the on-board button, the red light turns on for about 3 seconds (doesn't flash) and turns off again. I went to upload it, and I think that's what messed it up. I'm pretty sure I selected the correct board, the "Adafruit Trinket 8MHz" board, but I forgot to switch the programmer. There is a USB bootloader so you can plug it into any computer and reprogram just like. The Trinket development kits feature the Atmel ATtiny85 processor with 8K of flash and 5 I/O pins. It measures just 27 x 15 x 4 mm - that's roughly the size of a postage stamp. But yesterday, I plugged it into my mac and attempted to program it from the arduino IDE. The second version of Adafruit Trinket development board, the MicroMini 5V, packs even more power into a tiny microcontroller board. It seemed like such a great product, and functioned normally at first. Hi, I've recently purchased the 5V trinket from the Adafruit online store.
